Black Glutinous rice porridge Video👇👇👇

Hi! Today, I'm sharing my black glutinous rice porridge recipe with you guys and it's one of my all time favorite. Black glutinous rice is also known as black sticky rice and don't be mistaken with black forbidden rice. If you're in Malaysia black glutinous rice can be found in MYDIN, where I bought mine. Here are the ingredients and let's get started.

Ingredients A
(Bahan - Bahan A)
1). Black "Glutinous Rice" - 300 grams, rinsed, soaked for at least 8 hours or overnight for a soft texture. Drained /
**(Beras "Pulut hitam" - 300 gram, cuci dan rendam selama 8 jam atau satu malam).
2). White Glutinous Rice - 50 grams, rinsed and drained /
**(Beras Pulut Putih - 50 gram, cuci dan toskan)
3). Water - 2.3 litres /
**(Air - 2.3 liter)
4). Screwpine leaves @ Pandan leaves - 3 pcs, tied into knots /
**(Daun Pandan - 3 helai, simpulkan)

Ingredients B
(Bahan - Bahan B)
1). Palm Sugar - 4 tbsp /
**(Gula Melaka - 4 sdm)
2). White sugar or brown sugar - to taste /
**(Gula pasir atau gula perang - ikut citarasa)
3). Thick coconut milk - 400 ml /
**(Santan Pekat - 400 ml)
4). Canned sweet corn kernels -230 grams(drained weight) /
**(Jagung manis tin - 1 tin@230 gram)
5). salt - 1/2 tsp /
**(Garam - 1/2 sdt)

Ingredients C
(Bahan - Bahan C)
1). Potato starch or Tapioca flour or Corn starch - 1 tbsp - for this recipe I used potato starch /
**(Tepung kentang atau tepung ubi atau tepung jagung - 1 sdm)
2). Water - 6 tbsp /
**(Air - 6 sdm)
Mix water with potato starch/corn starch/tapioca flour. Set aside.
**(Campurkan air dengan tepung kentang/tepung ubi/tepung jagung. Ketepikan)

Method//Cara membuat👇👇👇
1). Put black glutinous rice and white glutinous rice in a pot. Add water and pandan leaves and bring to a  boil over high heat until they are broken up. 
**(Masukkan beras pulut hitam dan beras pulut putih, air dan daun pandan dalam periuk. Masak dengan api besar hingga beras pulut mulai pecah).
2). Then lower the heat and remove pandan leaves. Simmer for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally until the liquid is thickened. If the porridge is too thick, stir in a little hot water.
**(Kecilkan api dan keluarkan daun pandan dan masak lagi selama 50 minit, kacau sekali sekala dengan api kecil hingga bubur menjadi pekat. Kalau terlalu pekat, tuangkan sedikit air panas)
3). Add palm sugar, white Sugar/brown sugar, salt and sweet corn kernels. Stir well and simmer for about 15 minutes.
**(Masukkan gula melaka, gula pasir/gula perang, garam dan jagung manis. Gaul rata dan masak lagi dengan api kecil selama 15 minit).
4). Add in ingredients C solution into the pot and stir well over medium heat for 2 minutes.
**(Masukkan bahan C dalam bubur dan gaul rata selama 2 minit dengan api sederhana).
5). Turn off the heat and stir in the thick coconut milk. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
**(Padamkan api dan tuangkan santan pekat dalam bubur dan kacau rata. Sedia untuk dihidangkan).
