Hi! everyone. This is Nora Liban. Thank you so much for coming by and I really do appreciate it. Today, I'm very delighted to share with you how I prepared "Crispy  Fried Prawns with Nestum" and this recipe is my own version that I invented recently to suit my own taste. Honestly, I'm not a chef nor a trained cook by profession but my passion is cooking so there will be more great recipes from me in the future.  I've been posting recipes here since 5th November 2020 and I hereby assure you that I'll be updating my blog from time to time with new recipes/my own version of recipes or a modified version and therefore stay tuned with Nora Liban's Kitchen and let's get started!!

(Bahan-bahan:πŸ‘‡)

Ingredients A
(Bahan -bahan A)
1. Prawn - 1 kg, deveined, rinsed and drained well /
(Udang - 1 kg, buang usus, cuci dan tos)

Ingredients B
(Bahan-bahan B)
1. Egg white - from 1 egg, exclude egg yolk/
(Putih telur - dari 1 biji telur, asingkan kuning telur)
2. Garlic powder - 1 tsp /
(Serbuk bawang putih - 1 sdt)
3. Salt - to taste /
(Garam - ikut citarasa)
4. Anchovy stock - to taste /
(Perasa Ikan bilis - ikut citarasa)
5. All purpose flour - 2 tbsp /
(Tepung serbaguna/gandum - 2 sdm)
6. Tapioca flour or potato starch - 2 tbsp /
(Tepung Ubi atau Tepung kentang - 2 sdm)
7. Vinegar - 1 tbsp /
(Cuka - 1 sdm)
8. Bicarbonate of soda - 1/8 tsp /
(Soda bicarbonate - 1/8 sdt)
**Place Ingredients A and B in a bowl. Mix well. Marinate for half an hour.
**(Masukkan bahan A dan B dalam sebuah mangkuk. Gaul rata. Perap selama 30 minit).

Ingredients C - Dry Ingredients.
(Bahan-bahan C - bahan kering)
1. Nestum (original) - 12 tbsp/
( Nestum original - 12 sdm)
2. Caster sugar - 5 tbsp /
(Gula halus - 5 sdm)
3. Milk powder (any brand) - 3 tbsp/
(Susu Tepung - 3 sdm)
4. Anchovy stock - 2 tsp /
(Stok Ikan bilis - 2 sdt)
**Combine Ingredients C in a bowl, mix well and set aside. 
**(Masukkan semua bahan C dalam satu bekas dan gaul rata).

Ingredients D
(Bahan-bahan D)
1. Butter - 4 tbsp / 
(Butter - 4 sdm)
2. Garlic - 4 cloves, diced/
(Bawang putih - 4 ulas)
3. Chilli - 4 pcs, thinly sliced /
(Cili - 4 biji, hiris halus)
4. Curry leaves - 2 stalks /
(Daun curry - 2 tangkai)

Method πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
(Cara membuat πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡)
1. Heat 2 cups of oil in a wok. 
**(Panaskan 2 cawan minyak dalam kuali).

2. Deep fry the marinated prawns for about 5 minutes over medium heat and remove it. Drain the excess oil on paper towel and set aside.
**(Gorengkan Udang selama 5 minit dengan api sederhana. Angkat dan tosskan).

3. Heat 4 tbsp of butter and stir well until it stop bubblings. Then add in garlic and sautΓ© until the colour turn golden brown. 
**(Panaskan 4 sdm butter. Gaul hingga tidak bebuih dan masukkan bawang putih. Tumis hingga garing).

4. Add sliced chillies and curry leaves. Stir until fragrant, then add in the dry ingredients (C).  Stir well. 
**(Masukkan cili dan daun curry dan gaul hingga wangi. Kemudian masukkan bahan C. Gaul rata).

5. Lastly, toss the fried prawn in the dry Ingredients over low heat until evenly coated.
**(Akhir sekali masukkan Udang Goreng dan gaul rata dengan api kecil)

6. Then turn off the heat. Ready to be served!!!
**(Padamkan api dan sedia untuk dihidangkan).
