Hi there!. Today I would like to share what I cooked last night for my family known as Chicken Sambal with Oyster sauce. It's an easy and simple recipe yet delicious. This dish goes well with Nasi lemak and steamed white rice. Here are the ingredients.

Ingredients A
(Bahan-Bahan A)
1. Chicken drumsticks - 12 pieces/1.2kg, cleaned and drained /
**(Drumstick Ayam - 12 ketul/1.2kg, cuci dan toskan)
2. Salt - 1 tsp /
**(Garam - 1 sdt)
3.(Turmeric powder - 2 tsp /
**(Serbuk kunyit - 2 tsp)
Mix ingredients A well and deep-fry until the chicken is half cooked. Drained on paper towel and set aside.
**(Gaulkan bahan - bahan A dan gorengkan ayam sehingga separuh masak. Toskan ayam atas tisu dapur dan ketepikan).

Ingredients B
(Bahan - Bahan B)
1. Onion - 3 pcs, thinly sliced /
**(Bawang besar - 3 biji, hiris nipis)
2. Lemongrass - 3 stalks, bruised /
**(Serai - 3 batang, diketuk)
3. Red Tomato - 50 grams, chopped /
**(Tomato merah - 50 gram)
4).Oil - 6 tbsp, add more oil if needed /
**(Minyak masak - 6 tbsp, tambah minyak jika perlu)

Ingredients C -finely blended
(Bahan - Bahan C - kisar halus)
1. Chilli powder - 4 tbsp or 15 pieces of dried chillies, soaked in hot water and deseeded)
**(Serbuk Chilli - 4 sdm atau 15 biji cili kering , rendam dalam air panas dan buang biji).
2. Garlic - 6 cloves, sliced /
**(Bawang Putih - 6 ulas, hiris)
3. Shallot(s) - 6 pcs, sliced /
**(Bawang merah - 6 biji, hiris)
4). Candlenuts - 6 pieces or 8 pieces of Cashew nuts /
**(Buah keras - 6 biji atau 8 biji kacang gajus)
5). Ginger - 1 inch, sliced /
**(Halia - 1 inci, dihiris)
Put Ingredients C in a blender and blend finely.
(Masukkan bahan - Bahan C dalam satu blender dan kisar halus).

Ingredients D
(Bahan - Bahan D)
1. Onion - 1 pc, cut into rings /
**(Bawang Besar - 1 biji, dihiris bulat)
2. Curry leaves - 1 sprig /
**(Daun kari - 1 tangkai)
----
Seasonings/Bahan Perasa
1. Salt - to taste
**(Garam - ikut citarasa)
2. Chicken stock - 1 cube /
**(Pati Ayam - 1 kube)
3. Brown sugar - to taste
**(Gula perang - ikut citarasa)
4. Oyster sauce - 3 tbsp /
**(Sos tiram - 3 sdm)

Method๐๐๐//(Cara membuat ๐๐๐)
1. Heat 6 tbsp of oil in a wok.
**(Panaskan 6 sdm minyak dalam kuali).
2. Stir fry the sliced onion(B) and lemongrass(B) until fragrant.
**(Tumis bawang besar(B) dan serai(B) hingga wangi).
3. Add in blended ingredients(C) and stir over low heat until the oil rises to the top.
**(Masukkan bahan kisar(C), gaul dengan api kecil sehingga pecah Minyak).
4. Add seasonings and the fried chicken. Stir well and add half cup of hot water but if you prefer more gravy then you have to add more water. Simmer over low to medium heat until the chicken is tender.
**(Tambahkan bahan perasa dan juga ayam goreng. Kacau rata dan masukkan setengah cawan atau lebih air panas jika nak kuah. Masak dengan api kecil dan sederhana hingga ayam empuk).
5. Once the gravy has thickened, add in onion rings(B) and curry leaves(B) and stir briefly. Turn off the heat. Ready to be served.
**(Bila kuah sudah pekat, masukkan hirisan bawang(B) besar dan daun kari(B). Kacau sekejap. Padamkan api dan sedia untuk dihidang).
